Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Buzzard’s Roost takes a deliberate and innovative approach to American whiskey. Founded in 2019 by Jason Brauner and Judith Hollis Jones, the brand combines traditional whiskey craftsmanship with a distinctive double-oak maturation process designed to develop specific flavour profiles.

Rather than simply ageing whiskey, Buzzard’s Roost carefully designs its barrels, using tailored toasting and charring techniques to influence the character of the spirit. Each whiskey begins in traditional oak before undergoing secondary maturation in proprietary barrels, creating additional layers of flavour, texture and complexity.

From rich double-oaked bourbon and Bottled in Bond whiskey to bold rye and barrel-strength expressions, the collection showcases the brand's commitment to experimentation within the boundaries of tradition.
