This blend had previously been exclusively reserved for the heirs and successors of A.H. Riise, it was traditionally served at a gathering of the descendants of A.H.Riise once every five years. Similar to all other bottles with A.H. Riise on the label, this is a blend. A blend composed of some of the finest and oldest rums we can get our hands on. Both the bottle and its content are unique – sweet like the other A.H. Riise blends, but also very distinctive with a taste of dark spices and a hint of smoke. You will never doubt that it is an A.H. Riise Family Reserve that you have in your glass.
Nose: First fruit candy, followed by a more powerful note with light leather and cardamom
Taste.: Dark spices and a hint of smoke. Pickled orange peel and umami
Finish: Lemon vanilla cream with sprinkled cinnamon.
